Major Characters Announced For Season 3 Of ‘Titans’

You want to talk about a show that has evolved a lot, it’s Titans. They began with the core group in Season 1, brought in Deathstroke, Connor Kent and even Bruce Wayne in Season 2. Now Season 3 is ready to turn up the excitement once again.

It was revealed during DC FanDome that three major characters from Batman lore will join the series in Season 3. One of the characters is already a part of the show, but will take up a familiar mantle. Jason Todd, played by Curran Walters, will appear as Red Hood in Season 3. The Titans didn’t exactly leave him on good terms, so it will be interesting to see how much of a role that plays.

Keeping the villain theme going, Dr. Jonathan Crane will be one of the antagonists of this season. Of course, you know that means we’re getting Scarecrow. Given how dark this show can get, this could be our most sinister Scarecrow since Batman Begins.

Last, but certainly not least, Barbara Gordon has been confirmed for this season. That doesn’t mean that we will see Batgirl. Titans will bring us Commissioner Barbara Gordon, who is running the GCPD. That’s right, the Titans are headed to Gotham. The question is, will that be a welcome sight for the new Commissioner Gordon or not?

Both Crane and Gordon have yet to be cast. There was no release date, or production start date, revealed during the DC FanDome panel. Stands to reason that we could see Season 3 of Titans in 2021. Once the casting announcements are made, we’ll have them.
