The Black Adam movie just got a lot more interesting. In one of the best panels of DC FanDome, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson guided us through what to expect from the upcoming movie. While he admits the process is in the very early stages, he did have some interesting reveals for fans.
One thing he made very clear is that the balance of power in the DC Universe is about to change. He also seemingly called out every Justice League member, but seemed to really focus on Superman. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but there was a different look when he was talking about the Man of Steel. He also wouldn’t really commit to whether Black Adam would be a hero, anti-hero or villain, saying that is up to fans to decide.
Perhaps the most exciting reveal of all were some of the members of the JSA that we would see in the movie. We knew about Atom Smasher already, but two other big names were dropped. Hawkman and Doctor Fate will be in the movie as leaders of the JSA. They recruit Atom Smasher, as well as Cyclone. It will be very interesting to see how these characters clash with Black Adam in this story.
