It’s almost time to head back to The Continent. Netflix recently resumed production on Season 2 of The Witcher and didn’t waste a lot of time in giving us a first look. Here’s a full look at Henry Cavill’s Geralt, in costume, from this upcoming season:
The dark armor looks pretty great, doesn’t it? That’s not all we have to share. Netflix also provided the following synopsis for Season 2. Quick warning, if you’re not caught up, this will contain spoilers.
“Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”
That doesn’t give away much, but it certainly gives us an idea of what to expect. There is currently no release date for Season 2 of The Witcher. Keep checking back for more updates.
