Heroes don’t kill, but he does. That is made abundantly clear now that we have seen the first trailer for Black Adam. This is the best look yet at the Dwayne Johnson led anti-hero epic, that has been almost a decade in the making. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, here you go.
According to Doctor Fate (played by Pierce Brosnan), Adam has two paths that he can choose: save the world or destroy it. You might think it’s obvious which way he will go, but is it? I’m not completely sure that we’re going to be talking about Black Adam the hero here. It’s hard to imagine that they would go the villain route, but this is DC and they are not afraid to give their villains their own journey.
We also get to see just how epic that Aldis Hodge will be as Hawkman. Again I don’t know which side Black Adam end up on, I just know I need that battle between the two of them, even if it’s brief. I’m really hoping that this will eventually lead to a Hawkman movie as well, but let’s be happy with what we have in front of us first.
