Has The Flash officially found their replacement for Cisco on the team? Deadline reports that Brandon McKnight has been upped to a series regular for Season 7. McKnight plays the tech savvy, Chester P. Runk on the show.
This is not a completely surprising move after last week’s episode. After “Grodd Friended Me” we saw Barry ask Chester to handle comms for the last meta alert. This after he saved Barry from being trapped in Grodd’s mind. Sure he was partially responsible for Barry being in danger, but who hasn’t done that, right? We also know that Cisco returns this week. Could we see the torch officially passed? We’ll have to wait and see.
