Doesn’t it seem like Syfy series sort of sneak up on you? I’ll admit that I had totally forgotten that the network was doing an adaptation for Vagrant Queen from Vault Comics. Well we all got a big reminder, didn’t we?

Yes Earpers, that is your Doc Tim Rozon that you’re seeing! Adriyan Rae plays the lead role in the series of Elida. Jem Garrad serves as showrunner and leads an all female writing team. The comic itself was written by Magdelene Visaggio, with art by Jason Smith and colors by Harry Saxon. Here is the synopsis:
Vagrant Queen follows Elida (Rae) from child queen to orphaned outcast, as she scavenges the treacherous corners of the galaxy, always one step ahead of the Republic government out to extinguish her bloodline. When her old friend Isaac (Rozon) shows up claiming her mother Xevelyn is still alive, they head off with their new ally, Amae, to stage a rescue that will take her back into the perilous heart of her former kingdom and up against a deadly foe from her childhood, Commander Lazaro (Paul du Toit).
The 10 episode series will premiere in 2020. The original announcement on casting was made in May by Deadline.
