‘Stumptown’ Gets A Full Season Order, New Co-Showrunner

It looks like we'll be extending our stay in Rip City a bit longer.  Deadline reports that Stumptown has been given a full season order by ABC.  Exactly how many episodes it thaat?  We're not 100% sure how many episodes that is exactly, but I'll take it.

It also looks like more help is on the way behind the scenes for those upcoming episodes.  Matt Olmstead (Chicago PD) will be coming on as co-showrunner.  Olmstead is no stranger to the show, he was already a consulting producer.  He joins Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad, Greg Rucka (author of the “Stumptown” graphic novel series), Matthew Southworth and Justin Greenwood. Too many cooks in the kitchen? Maybe, but this is a complex story with a of characters. Having an extra set of eyes around could certainly help.
