Remember that post credit tease in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse? It's about to pay off, and we got just a small look at that. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation released a first look trailer at Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Part One. Give it a look, if you haven't already.
Yes that's Miles, still hung up on Gwen. So how could he possibly say no when she leaps out the window and asks him to follow? That's when we see them essentially jump universes, and run into an unexpected guests: Spider-Man 2099. It looks like Miles Morales and Miguel O'Hara don't start out as buddies. We see them tangle in the trailer during a free fall. The question is why and will it last?
You might remember that the release of this sequel was pushed to 2022 not too long ago. Now we know that Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Part One will be in theaters on October 7, 2022. There should be plenty of updates between now and then, so keep checking back.
