Everything is cancelled. It’s hard to process that right now, isn’t it? That is not an exaggeration either. Literally everything is shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Emerald City Comic Con was one of the first dominoes to fall, with the initial outbreak in the state of Washington. Now, the convention is one of the first to announce it’s future dates.
The convention organizers took to social media to announce new dates for August.
Starting today through March 27, you’ll have the option to transfer your badges to #ECCC August 2020 or receive a full ticket refund. You can read all the details here: https://t.co/BJxp0EG1YQ

That is exciting news, and gives fans something to finally look forward to in the face of so much uncertainty. Truth be told, we can’t know for sure that things will be back to normal by then either, but at least there is hope.
Badges for the new dates appear to be going on sale, March 27th. From what I have seen, badges will need to be re-purchased. The situation, much like everything else, is still evolving at this time. Keep an eye on this thread for any updates.
