It's time to take Night City by storm. We have been waiting for quite a while for some kind of update on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Not much has changed since our previous coverage as far as the synopsis and creative teams go. So Netflix chose to use Geeked Week to finally show off some visuals from the 10 episode anime series. Let's start with the official teaser.
That was about as wild as I would have expected, but it didn't stop there. We also got a clip from the series, featuring a bloody battle with the Maelstrom Gang.
Now the best, and most surprising news. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will premiere in September of 2022 only on Netflix. If you would like to dive deeper, the creative team has put together a behind the scene video on the making of the series and how it differs from the game.
We still need updates on the voice cast, and a firm release date. It seems like we should get an update on that in the next month or two. Keep checking back for that.
