Manifesters, you did your job and you have been very patient. You, along with your new best friends at Netflix, saved Manifest and made this fourth season a reality. Geeked Week seemed like a great time for an update. You might not get all of the news that you want, but let’s start with a first look at the upcoming season.
Look at our girl Michaela and her stealth, spy skills. Ok, so she wasn’t super incognito, but she did find what she was looking for. Question is: who or what is in that shipping container? The mystery continues!
So, good news/bad news time. I’ll start with the bad, because it’s not horrible. There is no official release date for Season 4 yet. We have gotten word from Netflix that the release date is still to be determined. As for the good news, Season 4 will be released in two parts. Each of these parts will consist of ten episodes. So look at it this way, 20 episodes is far more than your typical season of a Netflix series. We are dealing with a two year time jump in Season 4 too, remember. This makes me feel confident that we will get the conclusion that we deserve.
If you’re not familiar with Manifest, here’s the official synopsis: “When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. Yet in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years — and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible in this emotionally rich, unexpected journey into a world grounded in hope, heart, and destiny.”
So we’ll just wait for our calling for more Season 4 news. Until then, stream the first three seasons of Manifest at https://www.netflix.com/us/title/80241318. Keep checking back for updates.
