If you’re going to go big with anything, it should be dinosaurs. So it’s hard to blame Universal Pictures for moving the release date for Jurassic World: Dominion into June of 2022. Up to this point, we haven’t gotten a look at the upcoming sequel. Now we know that’s about to change.
It starts with a very quick teaser:
Seems peaceful, right? It also shows off a bit of the score from composer Michael Giacchino. Ultimately this tease reveals that there is a much longer look coming to IMAX screens. If you’re going to see F9 in IMAX, you’ll get to see an extended five minute preview of dino filled goodness. Seems worth it, especially if you were planning on seeing F9 in theaters anyway.
The only bad news is, we still have to wait almost a year for the rest. Jurassic World: Dominion, directed by Colin Trevorrow, will be released in theaters on June 10, 2022. We’ll have more as that date gets closer.
