When it comes to adapting video games to series, Netflix is definitely leading the pack. I would start listing them, but at this point, it would take all day. This was on full display during Geeked Week this week. This one is a big one, because it’s a worldwide phenomenon. Arcane: League of Legends is coming to Netflix this Fall.
We finally got a look at what’s coming, and spoiler alert, it looks gorgeous.
Nothing like a little sibling rivalry.

I know how much League fans love Jinx, and it looks like she will be a big part of this one. Riot Games is teaming up with Fortiche Productions for the adaptation. Co-creator Christian Linke will serve as Showrunner with co-creator Alex Yee also involved in some capacity. Speaking of them, they actually participated in a Geeked Week Q&A.

We don’t know yet how many episodes will be a part of the event series. Here’s the early synopsis for Arcane: “Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.”
Make sure that you’re ready for the premiere this Fall by adding Arcane to your list at http://www.netflix.com/arcane. Once more updates come in, we’ll have them.
