We knew that the news was coming, it was just a matter of when. We couldn’t get Adam or Sam Deats to confirm it. Kevin Kolde would only tell us that there wouldn’t be a spinoff. Now Netflix’s Geeked Week has answered just how the world of Castlevania will expand.

So we’re headed to the French Revolution with the future descendant of Trevor and Sypha. Richter Belmont who will be joined by Maria Renard. Since we’re looking at 1792, does this mean we’ll be getting the Castlevania: Rondo of Blood storyline? Probably not exactly, but I wouldn’t rule it out.
There’s no word on whether or not Netflix will be getting the band back together behind the scenes. The Deats brothers appear to be returning, but even that isn’t 100% official. They will also need a new voice cast. So expect plenty of updates to come.
