‘Falcon & Winter Solider’ Set To Also Team Up In The Comics

One of the most anticipated series coming to Disney+ is definitely Falcon and The Winter Solider, but fans will have to wait a bit longer for that.  There is something, however, fans of the two character can look forward to right away.  Marvel Comics will have a Falcon & Winter Soldier story of their own coming on February 26th.

You can see the amazing cover by Dan Mora above.  The story will be written by Derek Landry with art by Federico Vincentini.  A quick synopsis says that, "The two old friends are plunged headlong into a race to uncover the new leader of Hydra before a mass casualty event announces the terror group’s resurgence to the world. The clock is ticking..."

Landry actually released a statement that he, "given free-rein to do whatever I wanted with this book, so I took the opportunity to do a big, sprawling action-adventure that takes Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes across America, from an office filled with dead government agents in New York to a house in the suburbs stuffed with Captain America memorabilia to a secret Hydra base somewhere in Nevada..."  If that's the case, it seems unlikely that this comic would in any way relate to the Disney+ series.

Make sure you act quickly, because the final order cutoff for Falcon & Winter Soldier #1 is this Monday, February 3rd.
