Cobra Kai never dies! So far that seems to ring true as far as YouTube is concerned. The Karate Kid spinoff sensation has been renewed for a third season. Even more good news for Cobra Kai fans, the existing showrunners and executive producers will also be returning. No release date was given, but we do know it will be some time next year.
You also won’t need a Premium subscription to watch the series next year. YouTube will offer all of it’s original programming for free with ads. There is a bit of ambiguity here with the phrase “get a run” when it comes to shows being offered for free with ads. It could be that you will need to watch a series within 30 days, for example, before it’s moved back to premium. We will have to wait and see how that plays out.
