This year’s Geeked Week just ended much like last year’s did. In case you don’t remember, last year we were treated to the news that Castlevania would be returning in a new spinoff series. One year later, we get our first look at the new series. Behold, Castlevania: Nocturne !
The new series will follow a decendant Trevor Belmont and Sypha, Richter Belmont. As previously announced, the story will take place during the French Revolution. So this is very much in the distant future of the original series. We will also see Maria Renard on the show, which is another name that Castlevania fans should know well.
There are no release date or casting details at this time. We do know that Kevin Kolde will be back leading the creative team. Based on a tweet from Netflix Geeked, it looks like Sam and Adam Deats will be back as well. If it wasn’t obvious by the visual, Powerhouse Animation returns to the series that, in our opinion, put them on the map where they rightfully deserved.
