Just because the last day of Geeked Week focused on gaming, doesn’t mean that there were no TV projects to announce. For years, Dragon Age has thrilled players with a vast world and wonderful characters. Now Netflix and BioWare will try to bring that same magic to animation.
“Dragon Age: Absolution is set in Tevinter and features an ensemble of new characters inspired by Dragon Age lore, including elves, mages, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons and other special surprises.”
Mairghread Scott, who is no stranger to the world of comics as well, will serve as showrunner. Red Dog Culture House will produce the series. Those are all the details that we have so far, other than the release date. Dragon Age: Absolution will premiere in December 2022 on Netflix. More details as they become available.
