DC FanDome got off to a great start with Patty Jenkins and the cast of Wonder Woman 1984. Their energy is so infectious, it makes you want to run to the nearest screen to see this movie. Then add the surprise appearance by Lynda Carter, and that just put things over the top.
After the Q&A portion of the panel was over, it was the moment that all fans have been waiting for. The latest trailer for the movie finally gave us a great look at Kristen Wiig as Cheetah. See for yourself:
Sure it’s a bit dark, and you might have to pause it at times, but we now know what Cheetah that we are going to see. I had a lot of trust in Patty Jenkins, so I was not surprised when I saw how great the character looks. I was skeptical when Wiig was cast initially, but with each new trailer I am sold more and more.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, it’s hard not to be excited about the release of Wonder Woman 1984. Patty Jenkins once again reaffirmed that this movie is meant for the big screen and they are willing to wait it out As long as necessary. As it stands right now, the movie will be released in theaters on October 2, 2020.
