WB Pictures Skipping Hall H, So Patty Jenkins Reveals A New Wonder Woman Poster

Pack up the blankets and lawn chairs DC fans!  It was reported yesterday, and later confirmed by Warner Bros., that WB Pictures would not have a Hall H panel at SDCC 2019.  That led to a very strong reaction from fans who were looking forward to seeing Wonder Woman 84, Birds of Prey and/or The Joker in all of their Comic-Con glory.  Leave it to Patty Jenkins to cheer us all up with a brand new Wonder Woman poster!  Here is her original tweet after the outcry from fans:

First, let's talk about how gorgeous this poster is, and not just because of how stunning Gal Gadot looks.  The colors pop so much and the gold armor really stands out.  It doesn't hurt that the whole color scheme is totally 80s. While I still want to see a first look at Kristin Wiig's Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah, this is definitely a nice way to add to the hype for the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel.

I will save my thoughts on WB deciding to skip Hall H this year for Episode 268 of our podcast this week. I will say this, chin up Wonder Woman fans. Just because there is no Hall H, doesn't mean that WB will simply do nothing. Remember there will be a WB/DC Comics super booth on the con floor this year. Who knows what surprises that might bring. Look on the bright side, there will be a lot to look forward to with it being the 50th anniversary of San Diego Comic-Con International. I can't wait to be back in San Diego this year to cover all of the madness. We'll keep you posted on any new developments. For now, thanks to Patty Jenkins!
