It seems like every other story these days is about something being delayed or cancelled. It feels good to finally give some good news, for a change. It looks like the highly anticipated second season of Umbrella Academy will not face any delays. Showrunner Steve Blackman took to Instagram to post the good news:
While the post doesn't actually say that there won't be delays, work is clearly continuing. From the looks of things, they are practicing some solid social distancing, as well. For what it's worth, filming for this season actually wrapped in November, and has been in post production ever since. If you do the math, and we're now getting close to April, one could hope that things will be completely wrapped up soon.
Netflix has not provided a release date, or even an episode count, for Season 2 of the Umbrella Academy. The last update we had before this was the release of Season 2 character posters. Does this mean a trailer could be coming soon? A release date? Fingers crossed!
