The Allspark is on the run and so are the Autobots. The next chapter in the Transformers War For Cybertron anime trilogy is coming in a matter of weeks. Probably a good time to drop a trailer, don’t you think? Netflix did just that today.
I know that I said this when Siege was released, but these visuals from Rooster Teeth are absolutely jaw dropping. This might also be the most interesting chapter in the trilogy, because now we should have somewhat of a dual setting. Netflix provided us with a new synopsis for Earthrise but be warned, it may contain spoilers for Siege if you’re not caught up.
In Earthrise: “With the Allspark gone, Megatron is forced to confront the harsh reality that his Decepticons are trapped on a dying Cybertron while also fighting off the persistent threat of Elita-1 and her Autobots. Meanwhile, lost in the darkest reaches of space, Optimus Prime and his team embark on a desperate mission that will push them to the breaking point as they travel to uncharted new worlds to face spacefaring mercenaries, enigmatic figures from long ago and even their own creators…the Quintessons.”
There’s so much on the line and a lot of intrigue with both factions. The story continues when Transformers War For Cybertron Earthrise arrives December 30, 2020 on Netflix.
