‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’ Trailer & Voice Cast Revealed

One of the biggest pieces of news coming out of Witcher Con recently was the announcement of a new anime movie.  Up until now, all we had was a description and the first poster.  Now Netflix has released the first teaser trailer and the first few members of the voice cast.

Let's start with the trailer:

As for the voice cast, Vesemir will be played by Theo James, Tetra (pictured above) by Lara Pulver, Deglan will be brought to life by THE Graham McTavish and Lady Zerbst will be voiced by Mary McDonnell.  The Witcher series showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will co-produce with Studio Mir’s Kwang Il Han, who will also direct. Beau DeMayo, who also wrote the film, will also produce.

In case you missed the description:  "The world of The Witcher expands in this anime origin story: Before Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir -- a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past."
