‘The Walking Dead’ Second Spinoff Series Teaser Released

More "Dead" is on the way, we've known that for a while.  Promises of spinoffs, movies and more have been teasing The Walking Dead fans for a while now.  AMC and Skybound have released a teaser for the third show in the series on social media.  See for yourself:

Sounds like a lot of "new" doesn't it?  To me, that's exactly what this franchise needs.  It looks like there will be a younger cast, different locations and even new "dead" on the way in this new spinoff.  That's great, but we still don't really know what we're dealing with in this new show.  One of the co-creators of the spinoff, and TWD CCO Scott Gimple did say at SDCC that we have only seen a "small glimpse" of The Walking Dead and that there  is "a whole lot of world out there."

So here's what we do know, from the Hall H panel at Comic-Con this year.  The untitled series will run for 10 episodes on AMC beginning in 2020.  The cast includes Aliyah Royale as Iris, Annet Mahendru as Huck, Alexa Mansour as Hope, Nicolas Cantu as Elton and Hal Cumpston as Silas.  Gimple will be joined by Matthew Negrete who will serve as showrunner.  Then there's the very short synopsis released by AMC:

"Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad."

So, based on what you've seen so far, what is your excitement level for this new spinoff?
