Ever since the first poster for Birds Of Prey (And The Fabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn) stirred up some concern among comic book fans, the sentiment was “at least wait for the trailer. Well, wait no longer!

I will save my full thoughts for Episode 285 of the podcast this week, but in short, this 100% confirms for me that this is loosely based on the Harley Quinn re-invented in comics by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner. If you have read any of their Harley books, you probably see that in this trailer. How the other (very important) characters work in to that remains to be seen.
Birds Of Prey (And The Fabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn) will be in theaters February 7, 2020.
