‘The Expanse’ Season 6 Enters A Crowded December Schedule

Nobody dropped more NYCC news than Amazon Studios. Fans hoping for news about the final season of The Expanse were certainly not disappointed. As if your watch list wasn’t already crowded, Season 6 of The Expanse will arrive in December as well. We also got a first teaser:

If you couldn’t already tell, or if you’re a bit behind on the show, things are pretty intense heading into this final season. According to Amazon Season 6 of The Expanse: “picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide of the conflict. Meanwhile, in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run after betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power begins to rise.”

Each episode will be released weekly, with the finale dropping on January 14th. If you do the math, that means we get six episodes. Keep checking back for our continuing coverage of this epic conclusion.
