Fans have been asking for more Boba Fett for decades. After getting a much celebrated return in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, the long awaited spinoff series is finally on the way. The fan favorite bounty hunter returns to the sands of Tatooine this December in The Book of Boba Fett. You see the new post above, now take a look at the first official trailer.
Based on this trailer, this series might just be exactly the kind of Star Wars that I have been waiting for. Let's get into more of the galactic organized crime and who is going to rule the Underworld. This story, "finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate."
Obviously, Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will be returning to lead the cast as Boba Fett and Fennec Shad respectively. The executive producers are Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson with Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck as co-executive producers. Also producing will be John Bartnicki and John Hampian. No directors have been officially announced yet, but I'm sure we'll see some familiar names there as well.
