‘Superman & Lois’ Premiere Extended; ‘The Flash’ Delayed

The Arrowverse officially returned this past week when Batwoman began it’s second season. We knew from the beginning that there would be a staggered start, but things just got a bit more spread out. ComicBook.com reports that The Flash has been delayed until March 2nd.

Sure it’s only a week, but this is not a schedule that needs to be stretched any longer that it is. No specific reason was given for the delay, but it’s possible that it could be to put more of a spotlight on Superman & Lois. To me, premiering alongside the new flagship series of the Arrowverse would be the bigger power move, but this is the Family of Steel we’re talking about.

Have no fear, Superman & Lois will still premiere on February 23rd. The premiere is now a two hour affair, with a 90 minute premiere which will include a 30 minute special about the character’s return to the TV spotlight. The last time we saw Clark Kent as a series regular was in Smallville, so it is a pretty big deal. Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope will also feature cast interviews and a sneak peek at upcoming episodes.

The next DC TV series to return to The CW will be Black Lightning on February 8th. We will keep you posted on any more changes and have extensive coverage of each series.
