This year’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim has definitely been worth the wait. The amount of news, trailers and big name stars that have been seen over the last few days could rival any convention. The final day certainly did not disappoint either.
After a successful first season, Star Wars: The Bad Batch animated series is set to return to Disney+ for a second season this Fall. We even got a look at what our elite, rogue heroes are up to. Here’s the teaser trailer:
Is that a lightsaber wielding Wookie? Gunji lives! A bit of a different look for Omega, as well. The Bad Batch also seems to tease expanding the galaxy to places that we might not have seen before. We do get a bit more of a clue in the early synopsis.
“Months have passed since the events on Kamino and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.”
This second season will consist of 16 episodes, streaming exclusively on Disney+. Keep checking back for updates.
