It’s going to be a busy October for nerd culture TV. Now Star Wars has has tossed their name into the mix. Season 2 of ‘Star Wars: Resistance’ will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney NOW on October 6th. Here’s the trailer:

According to StarWars.com, Season 2 picks up after ‘The Last Jedi’, but before ‘The Rise of Skywalker’. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren? We’ll have to get used to that! The rest is pretty much explained in the trailer.
Some big names will also be joining the cast for Season 2 including guest stars Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike) as Ax Tagrin; Daveed Diggs (from the original Broadway cast of the musical Hamilton) as Norath Kev; Matthew Wood (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as Kylo Ren, and Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess) as the Aeosian Queen. Christopher Sean stars as Kazuda Xiono alongside co-stars: Suzie McGrath as Tam Ryvora; Scott Lawrence as Jarek Yeager; Myrna Velasco as Torra Doza; Josh Brener as Neeku Vozo; Donald Faison as Hype Fazon; Elijah Wood as Jace Rucklin; Jim Rash and Bobby Moynihan as Flix and Orka, respectively; Liam McIntyre as Commander Pyre; Jason Hightower as Captain Doza; and Sumalee Montano as Agent Tierny.
You will also be able to catch the series on Disney XD, if you want to watch again after the premiere.
