Usually the day after Comic-Con is a slow news day. Today we got a bit of news that I am surprised was not revealed in last week’s panel. CBS All Access announced today that Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery will premiere Thursday, October 15th. As usual, episodes will release weekly.
Remember, we have a big time jump going into Season 3. Season 2 spoilers ahead in this synopsis: “After following Commander Burnham into the wormhole in the second season finale, season three of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds the U.S.S. Discovery crew landing into an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must work together to restore hope to the Federation.”
Suddenly, Fall TV is actually shaping up to look quite good. Until then, you can binge Seasons 1 and 2 of Star Trek: Discovery now on CBS All Access.
