Square Enix To Re-Reveal Marvel’s Avengers Game At E3 2019

E3 is just around the corner and news is slowly starting to come in about what to expect. No doubt after today, all eyes will be on the Square Enix press conference. Today the developer, along with Marvel, announced plans for the worldwide reveal of their Avengers game on June 10th at 6pm PT. Here is the tweet from the Avengers game Twitter page:

While today’s news is no doubt exciting, it’s not entirely new. You might remember that the then “Avengers Project” was announced in 2017 with few details provided. We have also gotten a teaser trailer, but not much else. We do know that Crystal Dynamics (Tomb Raider) and eidos Montreal (Deus Ex) are working on the game as well.

While it’s been a long time since we have gotten news on this game, I see that as a good thing. Taking time to develop this properly and get it right the first time isn’t a common practice in the video game world. Waiting until they feel like they finally have significant news to share is what we should all want. With two years of anticipation, and a much loved Spider-Man game already released, the pressure is still on for everyone involved to bring a bit of a wow factor to this presentation.

What are your hopes for this upcoming Avengers game?
