‘Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins’ Poster & First Look Photos

As far as I’m concerned, it’s been far too long since we’ve seen G.I. Joe on the big screen. As a Joe’s fan, I’m starving for anything new to watch. So, like you, I’ve been eagerly anticipating Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. It has been delayed for obvious reasons, but will finally be coming to theaters on July 23rd.

You can see the new poster above, featuring Henry Golding as the title character. Paramount Pictures has now shared even more first look photos. Take a look:

Samara Weaving and Úrsula Corberó look amazing, don’t they? Other members of the cast include Andrew Koji, Haruka Abe, Takehiro Hira and Iko Uwais. The screenplay was written by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Anna Waterhouse & Joe Shrapnel, and directed by Robert Schwentke.

Here is the official synopsis: “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. Based on the iconic G.I. Joe character, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins also stars Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as The Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Tahehiro Hira as Kenta and Iko Uwais as Hard Master.”

There is also a teaser trailer coming this weekend, so keep an eye on our social media pages for that. I have high hopes for this, so I hope that the trailer really sells it. Will this movie get you back into the theater?
