I’ll admit it, I haven’t read a lot of Shang-Chi comics over the years. As much as I loved martial arts growing up, that’s kind of surprising. Unfortunately, these books just weren’t available where I got my comics. As I try to play catch up, Marvel Studios has released a new featurette that dives into the backstory of the character with Kevin Feige, stars Simu Liu and Awkwafina, and director Destin Daniel Cretton.
I definitely have a lot more to learn about “The Ten Rings” as well, but this is a good start. I know I’m not alone in this, and clearly Marvel realizes that. It feels like they are really making an effort to make sure fans go into this movie well informed. You can find out even more here.
