For two seasons now, Servant has brought a great mix of mysterious and creepy to Apple TV+. After upping the ante in Season 2, I can only imagine what’s in store for this upcoming third season. Now we have a slightly better idea after the first teaser that was released today.
As you can see, a lot of key members of the cast are returning this season. Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint will all be back. Joining them will be new addition Sunita Mani (“Spirited,” “Mr. Robot,” “GLOW”). You might remember an interview that we had with Mani for Save Yourselves! She has a lot of range, so I can’t wait to see what she can bring to the show.
Executive producer M. Night Shyamalan will also direct an episode this season. Fellow directors joining for Season 3 are Ishana Night Shyamalan, Carlo Mirabella-Davis, Dylan Holmes, Celine Held & Logan George, Kitty Green, and Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala. No spoilers here, but Season 3 will jump ahead three months from the events of the Season 2 finale. It doesn’t look like anything has gotten easier for Leanne either.
Good news is, it looks like the series will return a couple of months earlier than anticipated. Season 3 of Servant begins January 21, 2022 with episodes dropping weekly. Remember, the series is only available to Apple TV+ subscribers. Keep checking back for our reviews and continued coverage.
