It’s always great to experience the craziness that is the show floor at Comic-Con. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that there are also fun activities to do outside of the Convention Center. Along with the huge presence of the Marvel booth, both Disney and Marvel will have some fun activations for fans to participate in, as well.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be coming to 4K, Blu-ray and DVD on July 26th. To celebrate that, Marvel Studios will have the “Pop-A-Poppa” experience. This fun game is based on Bruce Campbell’s hilarious Pizza Poppa character from the movie, and will give fans a chance to win prizes. There will also be some fun photo ops while you’re there. Finally, there will be a Multiverse Scavenger Hunt that will take you from the Marvel booth all throughout Comic-Con. That’s a lot of chances at prizes.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie also just arrived on DigitalHD from 20th Century Studios. Comic-Con fans will have some fun photo ops from that movie, as well as a chance to win prizes playing the Lucky Duck game. There will also be a Patty Hour between 3pm and 6pm, Thursday through Saturday, where fans can grab a free burger. First come, first served of course.
Both of these events will be happening Thursday through Saturday in the Gaslamp Diagonal, adjacent to the Omni Hotel (where Sixth Avenue ends.) There will also be a special screening of Lightyear on Sunday at 12:45pm in Room 6BCF of the Convention Center. This will be open to all Comic-Con badge holders.
Take it from me, make sure you take time to have fun both inside and outside of the con. Keep checking back for our coverage from SDCC, and news of any other fun activities.
