Out of all of the movies in the history of the MCU, I don't think we've had to wait for one as long as we've been waiting for Black Widow. That's not just because we haven't had a Marvel movie in two years, but because it feels like Natasha should have had this spotlight years ago. So this movie takes us back in time a bit in order to tell her story.
