‘Ratched’ Final Trailer & Ensemble Poster Released By Netflix

It might not be such a horrible idea to have a nurse around right now. Then again, it's 2020, and the nurse that Netflix is giving us just happens to be Nurse Ratched. You might remember hearing about the upcoming prequel series based on the character made famous in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Now Netflix has released a final trailer for the upcoming series.

Looks like Mildred had a rough childhood. That explains a lot, but it also appears to barely scratch the surface. It's also crazy just how terrifying Sarah Paulson really is in the title role. You can get a look at some of the other members of the cast in the photo above.

In case you missed the synopsis for the series: "From Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, RATCHED is a suspenseful drama series that tells the origin story of asylum nurse Mildred Ratched. In 1947, Mildred arrives in Northern California to seek employment at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind. On a clandestine mission, Mildred presents herself as the perfect image of what a dedicated nurse should be, but the wheels are always turning and as she begins to infiltrate the mental health care system and those within it, Mildred’s stylish exterior belies a growing darkness that has long been smoldering within, revealing that true monsters are made, not born."

We'll all find out how the madness began when Ratched comes to Netflix on September 18th. Make sure you add it to your list by going to www.netflix.com/ratched.
