If you’re a Ben 10 fan, things are about to get out of this world. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Cartoon Network announced today that a new movie is on the way, based on the popular animated series. So what is Ben Tennyson up to this time?
In Ben 10 vs The Universe: The Movie, “will focus around a blast from Ben’s past returning to do double the damage on Team Tennyson and planet Earth itself, forcing Ben to go interstellar to save the day. Meanwhile, Gwen and Grandpa Max team up to help protect the world in Ben’s absence. But when our boy hero is confused for the villain in space, Ben must figure out a way to get back to Earth to help save it!”
The movie will air first on Cartoon Network, before it is available October 11th on Digital and October 27th on DVD. The DVD will come with a bonus feature that looks at the Animatics of the movie. No word yet on if Tara Strong or Yuri Lowenthal would be returning as the voice of Ben. Either way, it sounds like a great way to celebrate 15 years of Ben 10!
