Let’s face it, it’s impossible to remember everything that is coming to Netflix. The sheer volume of new, returning and acquired programming is just too much to retain. If you were watching 13 Reasons Why, you might want to know about a new fantasy series starring Katherine Langford.
Netflix has released the first trailer for Cursed. Let’s give it a look:
In Cursed, it is the story of “a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.” Langford plays Nimue and Arthur is played by Devon Terrell.
The series also happens to be based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Tom Wheeler. See all 10 episodes of Cursed when it premieres on Netflix on July 17th.
