Ever since the #SaveLucifer campaign turned out to be a success, fans have been patiently waiting for any updates on what is going on with Lucifer. Netflix had taken over the social media account, but they had not been active since June of last year. That all changed today with the release of a teaser for the upcoming season. See for yourself:

Yes, it does look like Tom Ellis has gotten VERY comfortable indeed. Fans have long speculated that the show, which already pushed plenty of boundaries on Fox, would find even more freedom on Netflix. That was implied even before Tom Ellis dropped the robe, so it looks like that theory might just pan out. We also got to hear from Inbar Lavi (Eve) and Lauren German (Chloe Decker) talk about their new home. I don't think this pairing was accidental at all. It feels like there will be a real rivalry, or possibly even a love triangle, between these two and Lucifer coming up this season. We even hear Lavi drop a bit of a "spoiler" about a connection between Eve and Lucifer. If nothing else, we see that everyone seems to be having a great time.
We didn't get any new footage, any trailers or a release date, but at least this provides some sort of an update. Usually when something like this comes out, a trailer isn't too far behind. One thing we did manage to dig up is that this season looks like it will be 10 episodes. This seems short, considering what fans are used to, but this is pretty standard for Netflix series. Plus I'm quite confident that this team of writers, knowing that going in, will not waste any time in delivering a top notch Season 4.
What are you hoping to see in this upcoming 4th Season of Lucifer?
