Just because Crisis On Infinite Earths is on Christmas break, doesn’t mean there isn’t any Arrowverse news. Deadline reports that the pesky villain, Mr. Mxyzptlk, will be returning to the series in a recurring role this season. The role was played by Peter Gadiot, but will now be played by Thomas Lennon (Reno 911). Could this be a post Crisis change? We’ll have to wait and see.
The last time we saw Mxy was in Season 2, where if you remember he tried to marry Kara. It turns out, that’s not all that he had planned. It’s Season 2, Episode 13 if you’d like to go back. Mxy is a shape shifter and a master manipulator who is not easy to get rid of. It will be interesting to see just how many episodes we see him for this go around.
