‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’ Panel & Virtual Viewing Party Happenining Tonight (4/14); New Clip Released

WonderCon was supposed to happen in Anaheim this past weekend.  It seems like every year the convention features at least one big release from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.  Given that Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge was set to release during the con, I'd say that it would have been a big focus of the line-up.  One pandemic later, WB has gotten creative on how to engage with fans for today's (4/14) digital release.

A Virtual Viewing party will be happening tonight starting at 6pm ET/3pm PT.  You buy the movie digitally, then you can follow along on social media as the voice of Scorpion, Patrick Seitz (@Seitz_Unseen) live tweets while watching the movie along with you. Allow me to make it easier for you to get the movie right now:

On a side note, buying the movie using that link actually helps us out a bit since we are an Amazon affiliate.  To make things even better, after the movie there will be a one hour panel discussion to go even more in depth into the movie.  Participating in the panel will be Mortal Kombat game co-creator Ed Boon, Joel McHale (Community, The CW’s upcoming Stargirl), voice of Hollwyood-star-turned-warrior Johnny Cage, Jordan Rodrigues (Lady Bird, The Fosters), voice of Liu Kang; Patrick Seitz (Mortal Kombat X, Agrretsuko, Naruto: Shippuden), voice of Scorpion & Hanzo Hasashi; Producer Rick Morales (Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, Batman vs. Two-Face); and Screenwriter Jeremy Adams (Supernatural, Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans). Joshua Gray, producer and host of Mortal Kombat Events & Professional Tournaments since 2015, will moderate the panel discussion. Hard to resist if you're a hardcore Mortal Kombat fan!  This will happen on the Mortal Kombat YouTube page and on social media.

To get you ready, here is yet another new clip, featuring Raiden and Lui Kang:
