It's always great when you're excited about a movie release to see collectibles released along with it. Problem is, sometimes these movies get delayed, but the figures themselves do not. So while we wait for Dune to arrive in 2021, McFarlane Toys decided to brighten this holiday season by releasing these figures now.
As you can see, there are a lot to choose from, including a 12-inch deluxe figure. So let's take a look at the list, starting with the 7-inch:
Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet)
- Paul Atreides, the leader of this epic adventure, is featured in a Fremen Stillsuit that enables the human body to survive in the sun-scorched open deserts of Arrakis.
- Paul comes with a crysknife, twin blades, a base, and the piece to the Build-A Rabban figure.
Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson)
- Lady Jessica, a member of the order of the Bene Gesserit and highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, is featured in a Fremen Stillsuit that enables the human body to survive in the sun-scorched open deserts of Arrakis.
- Lady Jessica comes with a crysknife, fremkit, a base, and the piece to the Build-A Rabban figure.
Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa)
- Duncan Idaho, the most gifted Swordmaster in the Known Universe, is featured in a Fremen Stillsuit that enables the human body to survive in the sun-scorched open deserts of Arrakis.
- Duncan comes with two swords, a base, and the piece to the Build-A Rabban figure.
Stilgar (Javier Bardem)
- Stilgar, leader of the Fremen warriors of Dune and a man of great wisdom, is featured in a Fremen Stillsuit that enables the human body to survive in the sun-scorched open deserts of Arrakis.
- Stilgar comes with a crysknife, fremkit, base, and the piece to the Build-A Rabban figure.
Beast Rabban Build-A-Figure (Dave Bautista)
- Rabban, a towering brutal force of nature, is assembled when combining all four pieces from the McFarlane Toys Dune Build-A line: Duncan Idaho, Lady Jessica, Paul Atreides, and Stilgar.
- Rabban comes with his deadly inkvine whip and sword.
Keep in mind, you have to collect each 7-inch figure in order to build the Rabban figure. Given the realism and the detail in each of these, I'm sure that won't be a problem.
Saving the biggest for last, this huge 12-inch Baron Harkonnen is also available. Here are the details on that:
McFarlane Toys is also offering an impressive Dune Collectible 12-inch Baron Vladimir Harkonnen figure inspired by the likeness of Stellan Skarsgård. The 12-inch figure captures the essence and likeness of the all-consuming figurehead of House Harkonnen as he hovers menacingly over his Dune base. Harkonnen rules through fear, determined to take back the throne of galactic power and reclaim the spice-rich sands of Dune from House Atreides by deadly means.
The Baron is available now at Target. You can find some of the other figures there too, along with Amazon, Walmart, GameStop and some other locations. You'll have them ready for a watch party when Dune is released by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures on October 1, 2021 in theaters and on HBO Max.
