Marvel’s Jessica Jones Final Season Release Date Announced

It’s no secret that time is running out for the amazing run of Marvel series on Netflix. The only difference this time is, we know this will be the final season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones going into it. Season 3 will premiere on Friday. June 14th. Here is the quick teaser and date announcement:

That doesn’t give us much to go on, but things don’t look good for Jessica. Even the following synopsis provided by Netflix doesn’t give us many clues:
When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

Obviously the relationship between Jessica and her sister will be a big part of the upcoming season. We also know that the cast will also include Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy), Eka Darville (Empire), Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), Jeremy Bobb (Russian Doll), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Tiffany Mack (Hap and Leonard), Jessica Frances Dukes (The Good Wife), Aneesh Sheth (New Amsterdam) and Rebecca DeMornay (The Hand that Rocks the Cradle). It will also be interesting to watch this season knowing it will be the last and there will likely be no spinoffs coming up any time soon. No matter the circumstances, I’m sure the show will go out in a blaze of glory.
