With the sucess of Marvel's Luke Cage on Netflix, it's no surprise that the publisher has announced a new title for Harlem's hero. Luke Cage #1 joins the recently launched Digital Originals line. The double sized first issue comes from writer Anthony Del Col with art from Jahnoy Lindsay and Ian Herring, and covers by Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire.
The focus of this digital line as a whole seems to be on the art. Series editor Alanna Smith says, "we’re working hard to create distinct visual worlds that really sing in the digital format." Judge for yourself:
