Ever since December of last year, League of Legends fans have been able to learn even more about their favorite characters. That’s when the partnership between Marvel and Riot Games for League comics first launched. Now, one of those stories is about to hit print for the first time.
League of Legends: Lux is a digital first series that launched on May from writer John O’Bryan and artists Billy Tan and Haining of Tan Comics. In the story, in Lux’s shining city of Demacia, order reigns. The realm is safe, and the people are happy…unless you’re a mage. In a place where ‘Mageseekers’ outlaw magic, Lux must hide who she truly is when she begins to exhibit light powers. But when she seeks out an imprisoned mage to learn to control her magic, will she protect herself…or doom Demacia? Whether you’re a fan of the game or not, a good fantasy story is a good fantasy story.
The collection of all five issues will be available in print for the first time on November 6, 2019. The first two issues are already available digitally, with Issue 3 coming out July 10th. We can’t wait to see what is in store for Luxanna “Lux” Crownguard in the rest of the story!
