Forget cameos or familiar faces. The biggest news for me coming out of the new trailer for Season 3 of Cobra Kai is the unlikely partnership that we’ll be seeing. Don’t believe me? See for yourself:
I don’t know about you, but my hype level for Season 3 (which was already high) just increased exponentially. Not only do we get a LaRusso/Lawrence team-up, but we get to see what looks like a very emotional arc with Johnny and Miguel. Plus, those Karate Kid 2 character hopes seem to be confirmed. The best part is, that is only a fraction of what we saw in the trailer, nevermind the whole season.
Here’s the latest synopsis from Netflix: “Season 3 finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.”
