From the beginning, Batwoman has shied away from the “villain of the week” format, for the most part. Given how things have been going with Alice and Mouse, that’s understandable. Now it seems like the villain list is growing.
EW reports that Kayla Ewell (The Vampire Diaries) will play the DC Comics character Nocturna in the upcoming “Drink Me” episode. Based on that, we’re likely looking at the New 52 version of the character. If you’ve read Batwoman #34, you know what we will likely see.
There is some intense and steamy stuff in this issue, if memory serves me correctly. How will the writers work a vampire into the story? Will there be some modifications to the character? We’ll find out when the episode airs on February 23, 2020.
