If you’ve ever struggled with infertility, or know someone who has, you know how difficult it can be. It gets to the point where you’ll do anything to get pregnant. Imagine realizing that dream, only to have a sinister aftermath. Hulu is teaming up with A24 for the thriller, False Positive.
Here is the official synopsis: “After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren’t complicated enough…”
John Lee serves as director, with the script written by Ilana Glazer and John Lee. They also produce alongside Jonathan Wang. The film stars Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, Sophia Bush and Gretchen Mol.
We don’t have a trailer just yet, only the first look photos seen above. False Positive will premiere on June 25th exclusively on Hulu. Once the trailer does drop, we’ll have it.
